1. Login or create a new
Broadcom Support portal web page* account. Make sure to Build the Profile to gain access to download links.
2. Use the dropdown next to Username and select VMware Cloud Foundations.
3. On the left-hand side menu, click My Downloads.
4. Choose your Product Group. If you want to download a client in a language other than English, unmark the English-only checkbox in the upper right to see different versions (if available).
5. Under the Products Tab, choose the user entitlement for {{ product.title }} (e.g., click on VMware vSphere - Enterprise).
6. Select the significant version of product required.
7. Click View Group on the right side of the e.g. VMware vSphere Hypervisor (ESXi) item.
8. Use the dropdown in the upper right to choose the version you need and download it.
9. After installation, launch the software client and click Help.
10. Click Enter Serial Number and enter the license key.
11. Click OK and register your license.
Note:
The previous VMware Customer Connect system is no longer available to VMware customers. Check your inbox for an email from Broadcom with instructions on how to activate your NEW Broadcom Support Portal account and follow the instructions. Activating your new portal account is the first step in accessing all of the support portal's features and functionality.
